Course content
- students will reflect upon their motivations and expectations to work abroad - students will become familiar with the history of the phenomenon of international volunteering and its role in development cooperation -students will be able to reflect critically on the emergence and existence of stereotypes relating to initiatives of international volunteers and development workers - students will become familiar with the ethics of international volunteering and work abroad - students will formulate their own project and get practical advice and information about staying in the country (research, internship / work in the host organization), safety, health, etc. - students will be improve their skills in intercultural communication and teamwork - students will be able to formulate their understanding of the term active citizenship and acquire knowledge about how to use their experience and skills gained during their stay abroad after returning to the Czech Republic - after the course, students will feel prepared for working, studying or volunteering in developing country

Learning outcomes
Course goal is to prepare students for internship abroad.
Students will be able to plan their stay abroad and be prepared to make arrangement to their proposal directly in the internship place.

Assignment covering all the discussed topics, student is obliged to actively participate in the classes.
