Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the phenomenon of migration and its overlap with the field of international development. The course will use case studies from various developing countries to clarify these complex and multifactorial processes. The positive and negative impacts of international and internal migration will be discussed and students will be acquainted with a brief history and possible future trends in international migration.
