Geo-ecology and physical geography - continuity and mutual delimitation of technical fields. Historical development of the field of geo-ecology in the context of geographical sciences. Key terms in the field and geo-ecological landscape concepts. Geodiversity and biodiversity in the landscape - theory of geobiocene types and its application in environmental practice. Geodiversity and climate as determinants of the gradation of vegetation in the landscape. Application of concepts of landscape vegetation gradation in geo-ecological assessments of consequences for ecosystems caused by global climatic change. Application of geobiocoenology in assessing anthropogenous impact on the landscape and as a methodological tool for sustainable landscape management strategies. Ecosystemic adaptation landscape management. Ecosystemic services in the landscape and gama-diversity. Land use and ecosystemic services.
