Course content
The main aim of the seminar is to develop student´s soft skills, which are increasingly required by employers in the proces of selection of new emploees. Among those, a special emphasis is put on communication, logical argumentation, assertivity and teamwork. The seminar aslo hadles the current issues in the field of the development studies. In the frame of each seminary, one documentary movie will be projected and a discussion or team activities and simulations on a documentary subject will follow .

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Projection (static, dynamic), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The main aim of the course is to develop student's soft skills, especialy critical and analytical thinking and rhetorical skills.
Upon completion of the course students are expected to improve their communication skills, actively lead discussions and manage to analyse topics from various points of view.
Prerequisites
Active knowledge of english at least at level B1.

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay

For succesful completion of the course, students are required to write an essay (3-5 pages) on a chosen topic and to have at last 80% of the attendance on seminars. Active participation in class. Form and content of the essay in accordance with instructions of lecturer.
