Course content
1. The electronic and optical properties of nanomaterials - an introduction (metals, semiconductors, absorption, dispersion, reflection, diffraction, polarization). 2. Optical properties of 0D-2D nanomaterials and core-shell nanostructures 3. Surface plasmons and plasmonics. 4. Photoluminiscence. 5. Metamaterials. 6. Photocatalysis and photoelectrochemistry.
