Course content
The subject is aimed to gain orientation in basic problems connected with establishing a business subject and its substainibility. 1. Introduction. What is business.Types of business.Goals of business. 2. Businessman. Who is a businessman. Qualities of a successful businessman. Business versus employment. 3. Company. Small, medium and large companies. Family company and taking up. Firm. 4. The most important legislative requirements for setting up a business. Legal questions of running a firm. Predispositions of a success of a starting businessman. 5. Trade. Unlimited partnership. Limited partnership. Limited liability company.Incorporated company. Building cooperation. 6. Setting up a business and reqistration requirements. 7. Management of a small company - examples from real life and recomandations for a starting up businessman. 8. Basic human resources management. Marketing, dealing with people. 9. The most relevant parts of the theory of financial management for a businessman. Taxes, financial tasks. 10. Support of businesses. Subjects providing services for businesses. Useful links for a businessman. 11. -14. Defence of an individual business plan.
