Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to sufficiently acquaint students with the set sub-questions concerning the teaching of style and communication education at the first stage of primary school. Some aspects of stylistics, both theoretical and systematic basis, will be discussed in more detail in relation to teaching. Practical stylistics will be the basis of the seminar, focusing on both teaching and the skills of future teachers. In the seminar, students will produce written outputs focused on the stylistic practices (and units) implemented in the first year of the course. PRIMARY SCHOOL. Topics: practical stylistics, communication education, spoken/written expressions, essays and their evaluation, essay practices and formations in the first grade. Primary school, functional styles and their basic characteristics. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - Work meaningfully with basic stylistic concepts as applied in the classroom, - Demonstrate professional readiness to address partial stylistic issues in relation to Czech and in relation to different communicative texts, - to reflect on sub-issues in the field of stylistics and related disciplines (communication theory, pragmatics, textual linguistics, etc.), - assess linguistic devices in relation to their appropriate use in different communicative situations.
