Learning outcomes
The position of the subject Czech language and literature in the system of education, the individual components of the subject, their relationship and objectives in primary school. The main developmental tendencies in the teaching of the Czech language (with emphasis on the situation in language teaching after 1989). The current concept of Czech language education, its aims, tasks, methods and forms of work at primary school. Critical points of the current concept of Czech language teaching and possibilities of their solution.Cognitive-communicative paradigm as a basic basis for the formation of the Czech language teaching environment.Development of linguistic (spelling, lexical, syntactic, morphological and phonetic-phonological) competence in mother tongue teaching - objectives, outcomes, content, process. Possibilities of integration with communication and style education. Critical thinking, media education, modern technologies in Czech language teaching. Basics of adapting the conditions of Czech language teaching for gifted pupils and pupils with special needs. Orientation in basic didactic literature, textbooks and current educational documents with emphasis on the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education. Possibilities of innovating the teaching of the Czech language using modern methods and forms of work (emphasis on the integration of the components of the subject Czech language and literary education and the use of intersubject relations in teaching).
